Exciting developments are unfolding at the Shepherd's Retreat, a place where nature and comfort intertwine seamlessly. Excavation work commenced last year, laying the groundwork for the charming sheep wagon and the enchanting Tipi enclosures that will soon welcome guests seeking a unique experience. This year, we have made significant strides by initiating the construction of an off-grid septic system, a crucial step in ensuring that our facilities are both environmentally friendly and self-sufficient. In addition, we are diligently running the water lines that will service the guest bathrooms, the outdoor shower, and the sauna, all of which are designed to enhance the overall experience of our visitors.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! In our commitment to providing a truly relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere, we have made the decision to add a luxurious hot tub alongside the sauna. This addition will offer guests a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration and adventure in the beautiful surroundings of the retreat.

This ambitious project, which aims to incorporate an authentic sheep wagon and a Native American Crow style Tipi, has been in the works for several years. Last fall, we were thrilled to acquire a remarkable sheep wagon in excellent condition, which we discovered in Amsterdam, MT. This wagon is not just a structure; it is a piece of history, featuring many original antiques that harken back to a bygone era. Its aesthetic charm and craftsmanship align perfectly with the traditional designs that were prevalent a hundred years ago, allowing us to maintain an authentic and immersive experience for our guests.

As we continue to develop these unique accommodations, we are excited about the prospect of sharing our vision with visitors who appreciate the beauty of nature combined with the comforts of modern amenities. The Shepherd's Retreat is not just a destination; it is a journey back in time, where the simplicity of the past meets the luxury of today.

Our new Crow Tipi boasts an impressive diameter of 20 feet, which is truly enormous and provides a spacious environment for relaxation and enjoyment. This ample size allows for a comfortable atmosphere where guests can unwind and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature. However, we don’t plan on filling it to capacity with people; instead, we intend to limit the occupancy to a maximum of 4 adults. This decision ensures that everyone has room to move freely, enjoy each other's company, and fully experience the serene ambiance that the tipi offers.

In addition to our large Crow Tipi, we have also acquired two charming 8-foot kid's tipis. These smaller structures are crafted using the same high-quality materials and construction techniques as our largest tipi, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. The kid's tipis not only complement the larger one but also provide a cozy space for younger guests to play, relax, or engage in imaginative adventures. With these two smaller tipis, our overall capacity expands to accommodate a total of 6 guests, creating an ideal setting for families or small groups seeking a unique getaway.

Guests staying in our tipis will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the breathtaking western landscape that surrounds our site. One of the most captivating features is the stunning views of the Bridger Range, a majestic mountain range known for its rugged beauty and diverse wildlife. Additionally, the Crazy Mountains, with their dramatic peaks and picturesque vistas, provide another striking backdrop for our guests to enjoy. Whether it's during the day when the sun illuminates the mountains or at night when the stars twinkle above, the scenery is sure to enhance the overall experience of staying in our tipis.
